In this one-hour webinar you will learn - Why we experience stress - How we respond to threat - How stress impacts our health & wellbeing - Strategies to better manage stress and overwhelming emotions We all experience overwhelming emotions from time to time. Knowing how we can take action to improve our mental health is empowering, and allows us to take back control, especially when stressful situations can make us feel like we don't have control. About the presenter: Dr Priyanka Naidu has a background in research and teaching within psychology. She is passionate about raising awareness on strategies that can improve mental health and wellbeing. Her research has spanned social, cognitive, environmental, and educational psychology. She is also passionate about teaching, having lectured in sports psychology and tutored in various areas within psychology including social and cognitive psychology, and research methods and statistics.A link to the live event will be emailed to you a few days prior to the event.
